2006 Rhino Blizzard ATV  V8 Automatic.

 

Originally commissioned to be built by the Australian Motor Company (AMC), (Australia’s premier ATV builder) for its original owner to compete in the Gumball Rally.

Unfortunately,  delivery came too late to enter, so the vehicle has been used  mainly  as a show vehicle.

Versions of the Blizzard have appeared in a number of Hollywood Movies including X-Men and Daywalkers.

It has also featured in numerous UK motoring publications, and was a show stopper when ever exhibited around the UK.

 

The Blizzard, based on the Hummer H1, is constructed with a galvanized steel body on a custom chassis based on the Nissan Patrol.  First registered as new from the manufacturer here in 2006, and has only nominal recorded mileage. It is right hand drive and truly unique in the UK., but as standard parts were used in it's construction, spares should be no problem. It is registered as a goods vehicle, so benefits from lower road tax.

 

The Engine was a new 5.7 litre, Chevrolet 290HP crate engine with Edelbrock Performance Inlet Manifold with a Holly Carb. The gearbox is a new TH400 with a B&M Quicksilver quick shifter.  A high performance Radiator and Oil cooler is also fitted.

 

Series 500 Ranchero Shock Absorbers with a Dirt Dawg gas steering damper. All new suspension has 2” Carroll lift kit with Rhyno off Road shackles.

38.5” Mickey Thompson tyres on 15” x 10” Eagle Alloys, ( a spare is included ).

 

The interior was manufacturer trimmed and uses Auto Meter Gauges with an Evotech Digital Dash.

600 watt JBL surround sound system with custom speaker system. DVD player, music system with multi screens and reversing camera

It cost over £40,000 and is on offer at £26,750.
