Truly magnificent and greatly underated car. Following a fairly scathing road test by one of the old top gear team (they always slated yank cars!), the right hand drive STS failed to sell in sufficient numbers to justify the expense of a UK dealership network, so GM pulled out after 2000.
The criticism was totally unfounded and the Caddy compares favourably on all counts with certain other wildly expensive upmarket cars. With a specification too long to list, let's just say this is an awful lot of car for the money. Finished in deep sea green with champagne leather, it's possibly the nearest you can get to driving down the road in your own front room!
Costing over £40K when new, it's hard to believe £2,995 will buy it now.
